EFL Tips: Crawley The Value In This Away Day Treble

EFL Tips: Crawley The Value In This Away Day Treble

Gaz is in great form and has three more win selections across The English Football Leagues this weekend.

Barrow v Salford

Sat 28 Oct 15:00

Barrow got back to winning ways on Tuesday with a comfortable 0-2 victory over Forest Green. That result ended a run of four matches without a win (W0, D3, L1) for The Bluebirds. Those three points will be a welcome boost ahead of a tough assignment where their unbeaten home run (W2, D3, L0) could be under threat.

After a slow start to the season, Salford have started to come into form losing just one of their last six (W4, D1, L0). Tuesday’s 0-3 victory over Doncaster was the fourth away game in a row that the Reds have scored at least two goals. In fact, in their away matches this season they’ve netted at least two on six occasions.

This should be a close enough game given the tenacity of Barrow however I think the 11/4 for an away win is incredible value.

Forest Green v Crawley

Sat 28 Oct 15:00

This is another match where the value seems to be in backing the away side. Forest Green have been on a terrible run, losing seven of their last eight league matches (W1, D0, L7). Their sole win was a 5-0 thrashing of Colchester which would have boosted confidence in the squad, even if it doesn’t impress me that much given Colchester sit 21st in the table.

On the face of it Crawley’s recent run of results is nothing to write home about (W0, D1, L3) but they’ve been facing quality opposition and I’m willing to overlook it on that basis. Before that shaky spell of results they’d won four on-the-spin and if they can regain that form the 21/10 available is way too big.

Harrogate v Crewe

Sat 28 Oct 15:00

I’m making it a hat-trick of away selections by backing Crewe in this one. The Railwaymen lost to table-toppers Stockport in midweek but that’s just their second loss in nine (W5, D2 , L2). Both defeats have come against sides with promotion aspirations and they’re in much calmer waters here.

Harrogate were hammered 1-4 by Mansfield on Tuesday and currently sit 17th in the table. Both of their most recent wins have come against teams below them and I can’t see them being able to handle this Crewe side. At 11/8 Crewe are great value.

Smart Bets

Barrow v Salford – Salford Win @ 11/4

Forest Green v Crawley – Crawley Win @ 21/10

Harrogate v Crewe – Crewe Win @ 11/8

Above in a treble @ 26/1
