An 11/2 treble for Dermo this week with all games starting at 14:00 on Sunday
Sunday’s slate of games starts with PSG hosting Lille. Christophe Galtier is apparently in trouble in terms of job security after losing to Bayern Munich at home in the Champions League. Given the injury crisis and lack of cover in the centre of defence, it seems ridiculous given the improvement from Neymar and Messi since last season. The Parisiens face an in-form Lille who are now just 5pts outside the Champions League spots.
Lens and Rennes will look to right the ship after indifferent spells of late with Nantes and Clermont providing the away team challenge for each team respectively. The week ends with an intriguing clash of sides from the south when Toulouse host Marseille. The home side are in great form and will provide a stern test of Igor Tudor’s side.
Lorient Vs AC Ajaccio
Sun 19th 14:00 GMT
Lorient should have Bamba Dieng and Romain Faivre settled into the side by now to replace outgoing Terem Moffi and Dango Ouattara. AC Ajaccio has lost 6 of their last 7 games and there’s no reason to think that run won’t continue. A victory for the home side looks the bet here.
Brest Vs Monaco
Sun 19th 14:00 GMT
Brest are now in serious relegation trouble. Franck Honorat can only do so much and outside of him, the home side lack a lot of quality in all areas. Monaco have settled into a rhythm after a slow start in Ligue. 6 wins and 2 draws in their last 8 games should be extended to 7 wins in 9 here with an away win.
Troyes Vs Montpellier
Sun 19th 14:00 GMT
The 20th and 17th worst defences clash in this game with an amazing 97 goals conceded between each team in a combined 46 games this season. They are 11th and 10th in the goals score category also. Over 2.5 and BTTS has some merits but with the shear number of red cards in Ligue 1 this season, playing it safe with both teams to score should pay dividends.
