Serie A Predictions: La Joya To Be On Target In The Rome Derby

Serie A Predictions: La Joya To Be On Target In The Rome Derby

Enzo had a profitable matchday 11 and he is hoping to extend the run this weekend with three more Serie A betting predictions including one for the Rome Derby

Matchday 11 saw the column get back to winning ways. Cagliari continued their winning streak by beating Genoa 2-1 which landed my over 2.5 prediction. The result means that the Sardinians are now out of the dangerzone and look like a completely different team to the one that started the season.

My second Serie A prediction, Juventus to win against Fiorentina, also came in at a decent price. The Old Lady put on a vintage performance by winning 1-0 despite having only 32% of the possession and three shots in the entirety of the match. A serious title challenge is now a real possibility for Allegri’s side who are just two points behind Inter at the top of the table.

Juventus v Cagliari Prediction

Sat 11th Nov 17:00

This is a clash of two of Serie A’s form teams. Cagliari, after not having won for the first eight games, suddenly sprung into life with two wins and a draw in their last three matches. What is even more astonishing is that Ranieri’s side scored eight goals in those three, five more than they did during the previous eight. However, their newfound scoring prowess will but put to the test on Sunday when they come up against the leagues joint best defence.

Juventus are red hot right now and unbeaten in six (W5 D1 L0). The Bianconeri have only conceded six goals this season, four of which came against Sassuolo. In total, Juve have not conceded in eight games and in seven of those they emerged victorious.

Despite Cagliari’s form and renewed potency, their wins were against Genoa and Frosinone who are hardly world-beaters. Juventus are another level and I fancy them to bring the Isolani crashing back down to earth. A routine Juventus win to nil @ 6/5 is my first Serie A betting prediction for the weekend.

Lazio v Roma Prediction

Sun 12th Nov 17:00

Arguably the highlight of the Italian footballing calendar, the Derby della Capitale is always a tough one to call. This edition is especially difficult to make prediction as to the winner. There is only one point between Roma and Lazio in the table, both have similar schedules and they have the exact same form stats (W4 D0 L2). The bookies are also having difficulty in separating the two but have Roma as slight favorites at 8/5 with Lazio priced at 15/8.

I’m not going to try and pick a winner, instead I am going to back Paulo Dybala anytime goalscorer @ 11/4. La Joya has a good record against the Biancocelesti and has netted 11 times in 21 appearances against them so at such a big price he is definitely worth taking a chance on.

Inter Milan v Frosinone Prediction

Sun 12th Nov 19:45

My final Serie A betting prediction follows the same logic as the first. Inter have the league’s joint best defence along with Juventus in terms of goals conceded. The Nerazzurri back line has only been breached six times and  seven of their victories have come without the opposition finding the net. Frosinone are a better side than Cagliari, particularly in the attacking department, but scoring against Inter in the Meazza might be a step too far. Inter win to nil @ 11/10 will be my last Italian football bet of the weekend.

Serie A Betting Predictions

Juventus v Cagliari: Juventus win to nil @ 6/5

Lazio v Roma: Paulo Dybala anytime goalscorer @ 11/4

Inter Milan v Frosinone: Inter win to nil @ 11/10
