The All Action Acca: A 13/1 Sunday Special

Each week we combine the best bets from our league specialists and create an acca across Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga.

Lille v Montpellier

Sun 16th April 12:00

Both of these teams score and concede plenty and Dermot expects an open game. A third of Lille’s matches have had at least four goals and both teams have scored in their last four home games. Montpeillier are in flying form (W5 D2 L1) and will be full of confidence. The reverse fixture finished 3-1 and we’ll be hoping for something similar to kick things off.

Getafe v Barcelona

Sun 16 Apr 15:15

Barcelona incurred just the fifth blot (D3 L2) on their league copybook when they played out a 0-0 draw against Girona last time out. However, the title is still secure with their extremely comfortable 13 point gap to the rest of the field. Their hosts will not relish the prospect of welcoming the Catalan giants who have won 21 of the previous 22 meetings between the sides. Enes Unal is the standout player in this Getafe side and is the principal reason they will survive this season should his team do so.The Turkish forward has 13 goals and has only been outscored by Lewandowski (17) and Benzema (14). Unfortunately for the hosts he may not have enough to overpower this Barca defense that have still conceded just 9 goals in 28 matches.

Sassuolo v Juventus

Sun 16th Apr 17:00

My final Serie A prediction is an old reliable that has served me well this season. Juventus win to nil has been a winning selection sixteen times during the 2022/23 campaign and I don’t see any reason to not back it again this weekend. Sassuolo are nothing like the team they were since Raspadori and Scamacca left. Granted, the Neroverdi are experiencing an uptick in form but they only average 1.28 goals scored per game and I cant see them causing the Juve backline too much trouble.

Smart Bets:

Getafe v Barcelona – Barcelona and Over 1.5 @ 11/10

Lille v Montpellier: BTTS & 02.5 Goals @ Evens

Sassuolo v Juventus: Juventus win to nil @ 12/5

The above in a treble is a little over 13/1

Loves to tip a midfielder for a shot on target.
