The All Action Acca: A 20/1 Weekend Treble

The All Action Acca: A 20/1 Weekend Treble

Each week we combine the best bets from our league specialists and create an acca across Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga.

Lens Vs Strasbourg

Fri 7th 20:00 GMT

Dermot gets the acca up and running with a hot home favourite. Lens are flying high and should steamroll a hapless Strasbourg. Le Racing have shipped at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 10 away matches in Ligue 1 even if their goals scored rate is decent. Lens on the other hand have only conceded 10 at home all season whilst averaging just over 2 goals scored per game at Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

Atalanta v Bologna

Sat 8th Apr 18:00

Enzo tells us Atalanta are not playing particularly well despite being firmly in the running to finish in the top four. Bologna are enjoying a fine second half of the season and have a real shot at European football next year. Their brand of football may not set the world alight but Thiago Motta has transformed the side into one that is very difficult to defeat and since mid January they have only been bested twice (W6 D3 L2).

Rayo Vallecano v Atlético Madrid

Sun 09 Apr 20:00

Vallecano’s recent form has Savage concerned. No wins in their last 7 (W0 D5 L2) is a worrying trend but their fixtures have tended to be tight affairs. Only 7 of the matches to date have been decided by more than 1 goal. With the arrival of their local rivals Atleti that is unlikely to change too drastically. That being said Madrid are the form team in the league and are unbeaten in 11 (W8 D3 L0).

Smart Bets

Lens Vs Strasbourg: Lens to win -1 @ 13/10 (2 pt win)

Rayo Vallecano v Atlético Madrid: Atlético and Under 2.5 @ 13/5

Atalanta v Bologna: Double Chance Draw/Bologna @ 6/5

The above in a treble is a little under 20/1

European Football Punter Extraordinaire. Although claiming to support Arsenal around The Accademics office, he is a football hipster at heart - just don’t tell him that! Happiest cheering on goals and upsets in the unloved Serie B and Belgian First Division A. Not to mention being a closeted college football fan. His biggest claim to fame is winning the New England College Rugby Champions at the lofty heights of varsity Division IV. The less vocal Grangee owner in the group. Loves to tip a midfielder for a shot on target.
