The All Action Acca: Plenty Of Goals In This 17/1 Treble

The All Action Acca: Plenty Of Goals In This 17/1 Treble

Each week we combine the best bets from our league specialists and create an acca across Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga.

Spezia v AC Milan

Sat 13th May 17:00

Milan were well and truly outclassed by a superior Inter team in the all Italian edition of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening. With qualification for next seasons tournament via the means of winning the trophy now highly unlikely, the Rossoneri cannot afford to take their eye of the ball domestically.

Spezia have no such lofty ambitions, however, their target of survival is no less important. After Verona’s victory in Lecce, Spezia have slid back into the dropzone, three points behind the Mastini. One glimmer of hope for the Ligurians is that topscorer M’bala Nzola has been declared fit to start from the first minute.

Neither side can afford anything less than a victory here and I expect both to go for it so Over 2.5 goals @ Evs is my first Serie A bet of the weekend.

Montpellier v Lorient

Sun 13th 14:00

These two sides tend to score and concede plenty of goals and Dermot expects this midtable clash to be lively. Elye Wahi has seen his stock shoot up this season and with nine goals and three assists in the last two months its easy to see why. The young Frenchman bagged four last time out and should fire Montpellier to a bounceback win at home. Lorient have scored in 15 of their seventeen away games this season, so goals should not be a problem. Montpellier to win and BTTS is the bet at 13/5.

Espanyol v Barcelona

Sun 14 Apr 20:00

Xavi’s side get the chance to wrap up the La Liga title against their nearest neighbours on Sunday. Their hosts by contrast have not had much go right for them this term. Espanyol have registered just 1 win their last 10 (W1 D1 L8) which has put them in a perilous position. As a result of having a worse goal difference than the two sides above them they remain 4 points from safety. This match has often been a spicy affair with 5 red cards in the previous two meetings. Expect both teams to give everything in this derby and the goals should flow.

The All Action Acca is a tasty 17/1

Spezia v AC Milan: Over 2.5 Goals @ Evens

Montpellier v Lorient: Montpellier To Win & BTTS @ 13/5

Espanyol v Barcelona: Barca To Win & O2.5 Goals @ 6/4

European Football Punter Extraordinaire. Although claiming to support Arsenal around The Accademics office, he is a football hipster at heart - just don’t tell him that! Happiest cheering on goals and upsets in the unloved Serie B and Belgian First Division A. Not to mention being a closeted college football fan. His biggest claim to fame is winning the New England College Rugby Champions at the lofty heights of varsity Division IV. The less vocal Grangee owner in the group. Loves to tip a midfielder for a shot on target.
